I had a rough idea for series artist Dan Schoening when he asked for cover concepts for Ghostbusters #8… I wanted a pulpy detective looking cover with Egon, and there were a few story elements slipped to him.

And then Luis Delgado colored it.

And then Tristan Jones aged it, and had some ideas for the lettering…

Sakes, people. I already have high expectations of these guys and their talents, and they blew this cover out of the water.

My favorite cover – from Ghostbusters or anything – that I’ve seen this year.

It’ll be out in April from IDW publishing.
